"In my business, boots are things that
need to put up, shut up and get on with it. My African Survivors
came with me on a grueling 7000 kilometer circular route across
South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia negotiating some
of the toughest terrain on earth. They didn't put a foot wrong.
Broad, roomy and more than comfortable, they were second skin
and didn't either eat socks or little toes, which with platypus
feet like mine, is a revelation.
An added bonus was that at night they were hosed down, buffed
and seconded as stylish footwear in the dining room. Highly

"I thought I must
pass on my compliments to you for the excellent "African
Survivor" boots I bought from you in December. I
went to the UK for Christmas and wore my boots every day
for the three weeks I spent there. I was most impressed
with the comfort fitting and wearing of the boot, even
in the snow in early January that I experienced there.
Even walking the streets after the snow had begun melting
and was ice, I did not find myself sitting on my backside
in the roads, which were very slippery.
I have enclosed a picture of my wife and I in the snow.
I must mention at this point that your Brand ;African
Survivor" is more than a survivor and I wish you
every success with this product. You can be proud of these
boots and are certainly "Proudly South African". |

have been really great, from day one I have felt like they were
made for me. There were no new blisters on the heel or flex
areas. The leather has stood up to scuffing and water, with
no signs of breaking down. I have walked in our factory, which
has a floor covered on mould release, without slipping. The

"The great thing about these shoes is
that one can wear then on any sort of occasion, be it formal
or otherwise. The thought that comes to mind is multi-functional.
They are extremely comfortable, and robust enough for any kind
of environment. They have an understated kind of elegance.
One usually suffers when breaking in a new pair of shoes, and
this was certainly not the case with these shoes. There is also
enough breathing space for the toes, so one doesn't experience
that pinching sensation.
What I like about the soles, is that there's alot of give there
- I wouldn't expect them to crack along the middle, as so many
soles do, after a year or so of use. All in all, they're a very
pleasing purchase." |
